BE PREPARED FOR ON-GOING / SPECIAL MISSION COLLECTIONS - OUTEACH EAST, SHELTER OF FLINT, CARRIAGE TOWN, YWCA, HONDURAS, FBEM, SCHOOLS & Presbyterian offerings:
1. Check out garage sales – look for gently used back packs, paper, pencils, pens, etc. (Outreach East), sheets, pillow cases, blankets, towels (all agencies), yarn (for Knitters) and for Honduras Mission - summer clothing, shoes for kids and adults (up to size 9) – flip flops, sandals and school shoes. ALWAYS NEEDED LOCALLY: CLOTHING: 12 MOS. TO 4T; PAJAMAS, SOCKS, AND UNDERWEAR – ESPECIALLY SIZES 3-8.
2. Check out end of season clearance events – great finds after summer for Honduras Mission and after fall and winter for Outreach East Christmas Gifts Collections.
3. Check out grocery store sales and “free” items – great to donate extras year-round in the collection box in Calvin Hall (goes to Outreach East and other agencies).
4. Check out all clearance areas in drug stores, grocery stores, retail stores – so many bargains available that will help those in need. Everything from personal products, to seasonal items, to school supplies, to clothing, cleaning supplies, and more.

NOW through year-end: Third Thursdays from 9 – 12noon; Sort food at Food Bank; leave church at 8:30 AM
Your on-going donations are greatly appreciated BY ALL AGENCIES. MOST RECENT “Thank You” from Hurley Hospital’s Foundation for KNITTERS’ baby hats for the neo-natal center. We continue to support Genesys & Hurley with caps for these precious, tiny babies.
