Due to the COVID-19 virus, the Session of St. Andrew’s has voted
to suspend inside activities, not including worship, at our facility.
Our worship service is each Sunday at 10:00.
We have began in-person worship services along side our parking lot and Facebook Live services. Masks and social distancing are required.
As this is a fluid situation, we will continue to monitor local, state, federal, and common sense guidelines. We will update as needed.
The congregation of St. Andrew’s has proven to be great Prayer Warriors, continuing to support, love, and nurture one another. We pray for each other, our community, and the world always, but particularly and mightily during this difficult time as our sense of normalcy changes day by day.

CONGRATULATIONS to Lily Brown! The Synod of the Covenant is a Matthew 25 organization. The synod sought out applicants for their Matthew 25 Higher Educational Scholarship who are leaders in their church and communities and who are aiming to help dismantle systematic injustice to the poor. The Synod was proud to have so many students that met these criteria. St. Andrew’s is VERY PROUD that our Lily Brown was one of the recipients to be awarded a scholarship. Way to go Lily!!!!
Bible Study: will be reviewing lesson #29 “Discerner of the Heart” next week [July 28th].
Flint Eastside Mission: Donations of clothing, household items, & personal items can be taken to the main building at 1917 Delaware Flint, MI 48506 or brought to our church and Diane Roetter will collect and deliver them. Thank you.
Faith Giving: St. Andrew’s has long followed a policy of faith giving which is summarized here:
Scripture teaches that God is the owner of all persons and all things, and that we are but stewards of life and possessions. The Session has adopted the concept that the congregation affirms their intent to support the total church program with their prayer, time, talent and financial resources. We, as members of St. Andrew’s, in response to our commitment to Christ’s ministry, commit ourselves to the total church program, financially and through the donation of our time and talent. Please prayerfully consider your commitment to this ministry.
Outreach East: This is an emergency resource center serving individuals and families with food and other essentials in the Davison, Goodrich, and Otisville area. We at St. Andrews can continue our support by donating deodorant, shampoo, bar soap, toilet paper and diapers. Items may be dropped off at the mission at 425 N Genesee St (810-653-7711 for hours) or brought to St. Andrews on Sunday mornings.
Back-to-School Bash: July 4th marked the start of the back-to-school bash for Flint Eastside Mission. The children will be needing supplies, no matter where or when they are in their education. We also donate supplies to Outreach East of Davison. This is a joyful thing we do each year, knowing that the children have nice new supplies to start the school year. We are aiming to have the supplies collected for them by August 15th, just bring any supplies you wish to donate to the church and Diane Roetter will collect and deliver them, OR you can call Diane and bring them to her home when she is available (810) 869-4177. The children thank you!
Children’s Church: There will be no children’s church until further notice.
Multiple Services: Please remember we now have more options for you to join our services, in-person, in the parking lot, on Facebook Live and on our website! If you join us on Facebook Live, please be sure to leave a “Like” or comment, so we know you are watching with us!
