SHARING IN PRAYER THIS MORNING: You are invited to share concerns and joys this morning. Fill out a prayer form and drop it in the basket in the narthex; they will be shared at prayer time. We ask that if you fill out a prayer request for someone PLEASE include their first and last name, their relationship to you, what they need prayers for, and an address if you wish for Care Committee to send a card. Thank you.
PNC IS REQUESTING PRAYERS for discernment and patience as they review Pastor Information Forms. We have been meeting weekly and trust in the Lord’s promises to guide us in our search.
FROM MEMBER CARE: It’s National Ice Cream Day!
Let us share in fellowship today during second hour with ice cream and cookies.
GUEST PEACHER: Welcome to Kathy Maurer, our guest preacher and worship leader this morning. Kathy is a member at First Presbyterian Church of Taymouth, Birch Run, an ordained elder and a past moderator of the Presbytery of Lake Huron. We are thankful and glad to have her with us.
GENESEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS: Have left some information for us on all the available children’s programs in the county. If anyone is interested we have a couple pamphlets on the narthex table and on the table in Calvin hall by pastor’s office. Also we have a poster with tear away slips on the bulletin board by the office. These programs are for children ages newborn to 5 years old.
YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN HOW TO USE OUR AED, FIRE EXTINGUISHER, AND OTHER BASIC SAFETY TECHNIQUES: Lake Huron Presbytery is providing for the certified trainer, paying half the cost of training and for the lunch. St. Andrew’s is hosting one of the two offerings here at our church, paying the balance of the St. Andrew’s training costs, and providing the potluck lunch.
Date: September 21, 2019
Times: Morning Session with lunch following or Afternoon with lunch preceding
Morning: 9am-12:30; Afternoon: 12:30 to 3pm
It is very important that as many as possible are able to receive this training so that we are best prepared to handle potential emergencies. If you are interested, as soon as possible, speak with Julianne Princinsky (810-614-3431).
Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
This is a good way for us to support each other and to collaborate with Presbytery as part of our Safety and Security Preparedness Plan.
